Most (but not necessarily all) 1/8 page ads will be placed on a page with other 1/8 page ads until that page is filled. Ads located off of this page will be offered first to the oldest running advertiser. ALL print advertisements are full color, unless requested otherwise. Ad location, other than spreads or covers are not guaranteed. For 2009, there will be 4 releases of Surf Carolina. They are: April-May, June-July, August-September and our final issue of the year will be quarterly,October-Nov-December Each issue will release as close to the 1st of the month as possible.

STATEMENT ON AD CONTENT - DISCLAIMER
Surf Carolina Magazine reserves the right to refuse any advertisement we determine may be offensive, contain profanity, vulgarity, nudity, offensive behavior, adult or illegal content. We will not refuse advertisements based on sex, race, religion or any other illegal forms of denial. Surf Carolina shall not be liable for damages for failing to publish an ad. Advertisers and/or their agencies assume responsibility for content of their ads, and are liable for any claims against the publisher with regards to their ads.. They agree to hold the publisher harmless for any and all claims and lawsuits against the publisher based on their ads. Certain ads which resemble editorial content may be marked “advertisement” by Surf Carolina Magazine.

AD COPY MATERIALS DUE DATES:
All ad information must be submitted 30 days prior to “issue date”. For example, May-June deadline is April 1, or the first business day thereafter. July-August issue would be due on June 1etc.

BILLING & PAYMENT
Payment is due on the 15th of the month prior to release.

CUSTOM DESIGN SERVICES – AD PRODUCTION
FOR USE IN SURF CAROLINA ONLY- Surf Carolina has a highly qualified graphic design team which can create a custom ad if you do not have one, or want to change your existing ad. Our fee of $75 is for ads1/2 page and larger. It includes an initial consultation plus one revision upon providing the customer a “proof”. The design fee for ¼ page and smaller is $50.00 If additional revisions are needed or requested by the advertiser, designs rates are charged at $50 per hour or portion thereof. All ad content is the responsibility and liability of the advertiser, and necessary releases, if applicable, must be provided. Our staff will design the ad with your material, and with our resources if necessary. Photography used from our stock is available with rates subject to ad size and frequency of use.

PHOTOGRAPHIC SERVICES
Should you need high quality photography for your advertisement, our staff of professionals can provide state of the art imaging at your location or in house.. Rates for images used in other publications are subject to negotiations depending on where used, frequency and other factors. Use of our photography without written consent is strictly prohibited, and all rights are reserved by both the photographer and Surf Carolina Magazine. Contact us for pricing.

WEBSITE ADVERTISING
Front & Video Pages: $75 per month (3 month minimum), or $800 per year ( a $100 discount!). This ad must be paid in advance. Interior Pages: $50 per month, paid in advance. Print ads ½ page or larger receive a free interior page web ad. All print ads smaller than ½ page receive a 25% discount on web ads

AD SPECS:
Tiff, Illustrator, PSD or Jpeg files are accepted. NO PDFs please. Minimum resolution 300dpi. CMYK color format. Contact our office for size specifications.
